The Mildred Hall High School website demo was developed to completely restructure the old design. The effort was not only focused on creating a visually appealing website, it was also redesigned to improve navigation and easy access to information.
The project was carried out through the WordPress 5.7 platform. Kadence Blocks and Kadence Blocks Pro were used to create each of the website pages. Using this tool allowed us to ensure the responsiveness of the site and its perfect adaptation to any display resolution and OS.
Various calendar plugins were used: Simple Calendar – Full Calendar Plugin and Simple Calendar – Google Calendar Pro Plugin; These allowed us to properly manipulate the date of school events and activities. This provided for an appealing way to communicate information to end users and allow for their interaction in return. The News area was structured as a blog; allowing the content to be displayed attractively and facilitating the work of site administrators to add and edit publications.
The documents section was developed using the Download Manager plugin, which made it possible to create a simple area for users to easily locate and download files of interest.
Last but not least, we have integrated the Custom Twitter Feeds plugin to enable home page display of all relevant local news to be published in real-time on the school’s Twitter account.
